Warning: This path is steep and wet in places and should not be attempted if there is a chance of hill fog.
Route Description : A circular hill walk through open country and conifer plantation. Start at the car park at Stroanpatrick Bridge. Head westwards past the house and tin hut then turn right, following the Southern Upland Way to Allan's Cairn and the Chalk Memorial Bothy near Polskeoch. Two hundred yards beyond the bothy leave the Southern Upland Way by following the sign to the left to the Lorg. Take the road down the valley to Smeaton's Bridge. Turn left across the bridge to return to Stroanpatrick car park.
